through thick & thin
Most people do nothing but complain, or at best, barely tolerate their neighbors – but one reason it was hard for us to say goodbye to Pennsylvania was all of our wonderful neighbors, who were also some of our best friends. The Heslins built their home & moved to Pleasant Road when their youngest was just a baby, and as the kids grew so did our friendship. John is the one who got Jim into NASCAR (!) and we have all spent many fun times together. They have helped so much with our move and transition to SC, and are coming today to spend the holiday weekend with us in our new place and thereby taking the sting out of being away from family!
