Anderson SC Photographer – home again

May 31st, 2009 , Posted in Portrait Photographer Seneca & Salem SC, Uncategorized

I’m home now after almost two solid weeks of travel, and ready to get caught up on all my sessions…so those of you who are anxiously awaiting your slideshows, it won’t be long now! Here’s one from my brief visit with Stacey, David, and the granddolls two weeks ago. Their family shots these days consist of wrangling the kids together and hoping to get something usuable; and we did!

Anderson SC photographer – Engagement session at Mingo Creek Park

May 22nd, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

This couple is excitedly planning their wedding for next year,  which Jason and I will be shooting, and it was time to do their practice/engagement session last week.  As you can see, Natalie and Ben didn’t need much help learning to relax in front of the camera – they are so crazy about one another, that it was just natural for them to have fun being together! Some of my favorites:

Communion Session – Anderson SC photographer

May 19th, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

This is Natalie, who just made her first Holy Communion. This child has the most beguiling smile, and just look at those perfect lips….I’m telling you, this one is growing into a beautiful swan. Although I generally prefer these types of images in black-and-white, I posted the last one in color to show you her beautiful eyes.

You HAVE to click on this link – Photographer Anderson SC

May 9th, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

There are lots of reasons to put off having a family photo session done. The budget is tight; we’re too busy; I want to lose some weight first; Junior needs to get his braces off; we don’t know what to wear; we look goofy in photos; my kids won’t cooperate.

But when the unthinkable happens, these small reasons make the regret even worse.

Click on the following link to watch a slideshow of an amazing man named Alex and his family. And then count your blessings, and resolve to live each day to the fullest. And if you can, please visit www.cancer.org or you can go to the Alex Laynor Foundation. And get some family photos done of your loved ones! Alex’s images were captured by Lyndsay Stradnor of Life In Motion Photography in Texas.

My name is Alex

Somehow in my internet travels I ended up on this site and I SO WISH I HADN’T CLICKED ON IT! After our move, I swore I wasn’t buying a single piece of clothing ever again. But now I am drooling over this stuff:

Another new product – whimsical frames – Anderson SC photographer

May 1st, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

I don’t usually offer framing because of shipping issues, but recently one of the Pro Labs that I use introduced Whimsical Frames. These are very similar to another line of frames that I have drooled over (!) , but at a much lower price point, and the quality is good.  They are a solid 4 inches thick with a contrasting border, either wavy or rounded, and in standard sizes. They are a delightful cottage, shabby chic style and in very fun colors that you can mix or match – chocolate, licorice, boy blue, girly pink, apple green, lipstick pink, vanilla, tangerine, and teal. You can’t generally find something like this in the usual frame shops, so I am going to offer it to those who love this style and see how it goes. I ordered one for myself to check the quality, and I just love it – there are going to be a LOT more of these in my future! I think they would look particularly good with a grouping of images in a child’s room. I can’t wait to do a set in apple green and lipstick for Genevieve’s room, they will match perfectly!
