Clemson SC Photographer/ Boy Oh Boy!

September 30th, 2009 , Posted in Anderson SC Photographer, Clemson SC Photographer

The last time I did a session for this family I captured some images of these adorable little boys with Mommy…so this time I really wanted to get some with Dad. It was so easy! Something about fathers and sons – all it takes is a quick swoop up into Dad’s arms and they dissolve into giggles!

You’re Gonna Miss This

The music brings out the words like nothing else can…just another reason my home is covered with my children’s photographs, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Clemson SC Newborn Photographer – baby olivia

September 22nd, 2009 , Posted in Clemson SC Children's Photographer, Lake Keowee SC Photographer, Newborn photographer in Anderson SC, Photographer Seneca SC, South Carolina Children's Photographer

You may remember this family; I just captured a family session with them two months ago when Mom was expecting baby number three here. Well, Olivia made her appearance since then and of course I HAD to get newborn images of her. She is just as adorable as her brothers and is settling into her family’s hearts quite nicely…and mine too!

It was so sweet to see how gently the boys treated her – for now, that is! Most little sisters soon learn to hold their own around their big brothers!

Carter still has a little of that “are we actually keeping her?” look about him:

And this one pretty much says it all – life as parents of a new baby!

Allie / Anderson SC Portraits

September 16th, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

We had a couple of false starts before we could complete Allie’s session. Rain forced us to quit the first time, and kept us from finishing it the next day.  Unfortunately I had to go back to South Carolina, so it was another couple of weeks before we actually managed to do the full session. But – my-oh-my – was it ever WORTH IT! Can’t you just die over that hair – those eyes – that face?

Who says there’s a lack of fine dining around here?

We passed these places on a mountain road on our way to Caesars Head State Park from the waterfalls this weekend…too bad they weren’t open for lunch.

Sara…photographer in Anderson, SC

September 12th, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

I just love photographing seniors, and Sara was so easy and natural in front of the camera the images were nearly perfect straight out of the camera. I just couldn’t pick a favorite, so here is a sampling….bet you can’t, either!

Two more PA trips for weekend sessions! Photographer in Anderson, SC

September 10th, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

This will be all that is left before Christmas, so if you are thinking about a family session so that you can also get your holiday cards done, now is the time to call/email me to book your time slot. Please keep in mind that we really do not have quite the flexibility about rescheduling that we used to when I actually LIVED there (!!!), so please make sure before you book that the date and time is one that you can commit to. There is a possibility that I can squeeze in a few more if the weather is good and we don’t need to make up any sessions on those Sundays, so we may be able to so some on a “lets-wait-and-see” basis…but of course, those wouldn’t be guaranteed.

All at Mingo Park:

Friday October 30 – 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30 pm, 4pm (rain date Sunday)

Saturday Oct 31 – 10am, 11:30am, 1 pm, 2:30pm, 4pm (rain date Sunday)

Friday November 20 – 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm, 4pm (rain date Sunday)

Saturday November 21 – 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm, 4pm (rain date Sunday)

Kayleigh – Anderson, SC senior photographer

September 9th, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

One of the parts of this job that I love the most is making friends with the families that I photograph and seeing their children grow up and change. This year I’ve been lucky to be able to do senior pictures for the younger siblings of a lot of the kids I did a few years ago! I love to hear how everyone is doing, and I love seeing the similarities AND differences between brothers and sisters. This is Kayleigh, and she is similar to her sister Ashley in her striking natural beauty – but she is her own person for sure! Kayleigh had such a great sense of style for her shoot, and I loved how she could change her look so easily and effortlessly. It made this session so much fun for me because I knew while I was clicking the shutter that these images were going to be fabulous – and I knew her Mom was going to be thrilled!
