I thought this was pretty funny – 40 weeks of downloading is 4.65 Terabytes (on a T1). Worth the wait! You can get it here

Photographer in Clemson SC – Meet Maggie

December 8th, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

This is the first time I’ve photographed Miss Maggie, and she was an absolute doll. She pretended to be shy at first, but it didn’t take long for her to warm up to the camera. By the end of the session she was a pro! I get such a kick out of little kids who warm up to the camera fast and start posing for me – and I really get a kick out of showing those images to Mom and Dad. There are so many good ones, but I’ll try to limit myself:

Clemson SC Photographer // I’ll take these two for Christmas…

December 4th, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

Just how cute can two little boys be?! I met these guys and their wonderful parents for an outdoor session last month. Amy reassured me that she knew that it would be a challenge to capture these guys posing for the camera, since they are as busy and active as any small children. But with the help of their parents it was just fine. Every time I look at these sweet faces I just want to pick them up!

Holiday Cheer for sure!

Elvis

How did I not know about this album last year???! Even if you aren’t a rabid Elvis fan, you have to be intrigued by the idea. Elvis’ most cherished holiday classics reinterpreted by today’s biggest female stars with Elvis Presley! The illusion of “duets” created by adding these talented female singers to Elvis’ already existing tracks is very effective; just like the famous “Unforgettable” Natalie Cole posthumous duet with her late father. The album features ‘Blue Christmas’ with Martina McBride, ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’ with Carrie Underwood, ‘Here Comes Santa Claus’ with LeAnn Rimes, ‘Santa Clause Is Back In Town’ with Wynonna Judd ‘Silent Night’ with Sara Evans, ‘White Christmas’ with Amy Grant plus Gretchen Wilson, Karen Fairchild & Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town, Anne Murray, Olivia Newton-John and three Bonus Tracks. Some die-hard Elvis fans may balk at this as a way for record companies to get even more money from Elvis, but I for one think it was well done and is just delightful to listen to.

I just did a search to find the nearest store that carries this, and it’s a good 45 minutes away in Anderson.  I feel a trip in my very near future for some peppermint bark ice cream.

Mingo Park Family Photographer – Liam

December 2nd, 2009 , Posted in Uncategorized

I just love reconnecting with my favorite clients every year. I met Patrick and Missie through another of my favorite client/friends, and so far I’ve captured their engagement, wedding, and newborn sessions; always wonderful to work with. Now their son Liam is an active toddler with an infectious smile and a head of white-blonde hair, so the park was a perfect place for a photo session. Here are some of my favorites:
