I have been photographing this young lady since she was, ummm, ten years old. It astonishes me that it was time to do her senior pictures last summer.
Her mom was excited about her session – she had this idea of photographing Carys with her bike and making it special with flowers, so she brought everything with her. She also loved the simple, bohemian vibe that is a part of her daughter’s style, which I do too.
By the time we were done, though, I think it was hitting both of us what this session meant. The future is going to be very exciting, but make no mistake…this girl has grown up faster than we could have imagined.
Carys wouldn’t be caught dead in one of those photos with suggestive posing, arms over the head and pouty look. Her natural, barefoot, girl-next-door look was perfect, and I couldn’t be more in love with these GORGEOUS images! I know her family will treasure them forever.
If you are a friend of Carys, don’t forget to leave a little note about her pictures in the comments below!
If you have a son or daughter who needs Peters Township High School senior portraits, check out more examples of my work in my senior portfolio. I photograph seniors on location in the southwestern Pittsburgh area, including Washington PA, McMurray PA, Venetia PA and Canonsburg PA.
