Outdoor location family photographer Highlands, NC
I’ve been working on securing all of my old archived images to multiple sources of backup during these past few weeks. This is a tedious, time-consuming job, but what makes it take longer is that I end up nostalgically browsing through past sessions from beloved clients. Sigh.
Digital photography has changed quite a lot over the past 12 years that I have been in business. Cameras are SO MUCH better, Photoshop techniques have evolved, and of course styles have changed. My early work is somewhat different from what it is today, partly because of the aforementioned changes, but also because I have learned so much over the years (and still do!).
I’m actually planning a little series of blog posts to talk about the “thens and nows” of my photography journey. I’m hoping that what I have learned and observed will help other aspiring photographers who are just getting into this wonderful field.
For now, I’m just going to post these images of a gorgeous baby on a winter’s day in 2007. 🙂
I live in the upstate area of South Carolina, right on Lake Keowee near Seneca, Clemson, and Six Mile SC. I am happy to travel to Greenville, or the Highlands/Cashiers/Brevard NC areas as well for sessions. I am especially happy to photograph large extended families on vacation or at reunions. Check out my portfolio in the link in the header bar at the top of this page, and feel free to contact me with any questions – I’m happy to chat!
