Giving Is Awesome Program

December 17th, 2008 , Posted in Anderson SC Photographer, Clemson SC Children's Photographer, Clemson SC Photographer, Lake Keowee SC Photographer, Photographer Seneca SC, Portrait Photographer Seneca & Salem SC

You know someone. You know someone who's experienced a
tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more
than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal
circumstances. You know someone who can't afford custom photography, but who
would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a
year-round reminder of their family's spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. I guarantee it.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the
chance to experience complimentary custom photography – $750 worth, to
be exact. Whether it's canvas or albums, prints for Grandma, or a slideshow to
watch over and over, it's in your power to give them the artwork
they deserve this holiday season.

Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the
winner receives a $250 session credit. What better reason to show some love
could there possibly be, people?

The rules:

* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must
sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make
mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in Paris does
not qualify as sincere financial need.)

* The nominee must live within a 30 mile radius of my home in Salem, SC OR McDonald, PA. Tell me who
you know, what they're experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please
include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.

* You must e-mail me the full story here: jnafziger@charter.net

The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve — get
nominating! I can't wait to read all of your entries! Photographers all over the country are doing this, so if the person you are thinking of isn't local to me, you can search the site for someone near them : Giving Is Awesome

Open your heart to someone this holiday season — and thanks
for giving me the opportunity to open mine.

With love,

Pam

Everyone always asks for sessions in the late fall to try to take advantage of the beautiful leaves…and you can sure see why!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

December 8th, 2008 , Posted in Anderson SC Photographer, Clemson SC Children's Photographer, Clemson SC Photographer, Lake Keowee SC Photographer, Portrait Photographer Seneca & Salem SC, South Carolina Family Photographer

I was in PA this past weekend to visit family & finish up the last of my 2008 sessions. I know this is out of order (I am SO behind in blogging recent sessions, I know) but I just had to post these today because they feel so Christmas-y. It started snowing on Saturday just in time for my sessions, but everyone stayed cheerful despite the freezing cold…and who could ask for a better setting for Holiday card pictures than this?

Charleston Session

December 2nd, 2008 , Posted in Anderson SC Photographer, Clemson SC Photographer, Lake Keowee SC Photographer, Portrait Photographer Seneca & Salem SC, South Carolina Family Photographer

Did a session for this fun family in Charleston on Halloween weekend near their home…great location near the river with lots of cool trees, moss, & architectural details. I didn’t mean to post this many, but there are too many good ones!

Just one year old, not quite walking, bright fall color, and the face of an angel – what more could you want?

I have been using Cecil Park for my PA sessions when possible…it’s close to my old house, and it has some wonderful spots with great light for family pics. This is my third year for this family….here’s one from 2006:

just one year

I think I’ve photographed Julie’s kids for three years in a row now – always a fun time, they are easy & so photogenic! But this year I noticed a change; they are slowly entering that pre-pubescent stage…losing their baby looks….starting to stretch up, thin out, and give us glimpses of the teens that they will be. I love that – and I hate that at the same time. (sigh). But let’s not think about that too much! Just enjoy these wonderful kids, as always dressed perfectly in a fun colorful style that suits them so well!

Field of Gold

November 17th, 2008 , Posted in Anderson SC Photographer, Clemson SC Children's Photographer, Clemson SC Photographer, Lake Keowee SC Photographer, Portrait Photographer Seneca & Salem SC, South Carolina Children's Photographer, South Carolina Family & Children's Photographer, South Carolina Family Photographer

A few weeks ago on my way from Stacey’s to Pittsburgh I was able to stop in Sharpsburg MD and do a session for Jody’s kids – um, the last time was for Jimmy’s newborn session 3 years ago! Now they have a brand new home surrounded by beautiful fields. It was drizzling on my drive there, and I was worried that we weren’t going to be able to do the session, but just as I drove up the driveway we had the most wonderful golden light…love it on their blonde hair!

Three Little ladies!

November 12th, 2008 , Posted in Anderson SC Photographer, Clemson SC Children's Photographer, Clemson SC Photographer, Lake Keowee SC Photographer, Portrait Photographer Seneca & Salem SC, South Carolina Children's Photographer

The last time I photographed this family, Reagan and Addison were busy toddlers…now not only have they grown, but precious Quinn has joined the family! These girls are so easy and adorable that we ended up with a TON of good images for their proud parents. What mother could resist this:

Growing up fast…

October 25th, 2008 , Posted in Anderson SC Photographer, Clemson SC Children's Photographer, Clemson SC Photographer, Lake Keowee SC Photographer, Portrait Photographer Seneca & Salem SC

So I’ve been photographing these kids since they were babies and I must say all of that experience is paying off -  they have turned into great little models! The first time I did a session for them Jonah was barely walking and I couldn’t get him to hold still long enough to get a shot in focus! Now they are easy and fun, and the images are so THEM!
