Lancaster PA photographer | Heirloom

I  spent a day with Nicole on my last trip to PA – I really needed to get some new images of Eislen & Ref. I got there rather late in the day, and I had hoped to get outdoor shots to really show off their blue eyes but there wasn’t enough daylight. We decided to wait until morning, but then both kids tired out about an hour earlier for their naps than we expected, so I had to wait until they woke up. The weather wasn’t cooperating either, so I had to drag out my studio light to use indoors. I knew getting a shot of both of them was a priority for me (because I need a new enlargement for my home to replace the one of just Eislen before Ref was in the picture, lol!).  I also knew the chance of doing that successfully were about the same as filling out a successful Ncaa bracket. BUT – I spied this heirloom chair that she had, and I knew with a little luck (and a bit of Photoshop skill – this is actually a composite of 2 images, because Ref can’t quite sit up alone yet and Nicole is holding him) I could do it:

Here’s Ref at 6 months old – all I can see is Nicole when I look at him!

And Miss Eislen, as adorable as ever:
