It’s no secret that running the “business” side of a photography business is much less fun than the actual photography side, and of course there are days that make me question my decision to retire from nursing and pursue this full time. But then I get a call from a family like this and realized just how much I love doing it.
Cole and Teresa found me through a word-of-mouth referral from a friend. I shot their engagement session – their wedding – their maternity & newborn for their firstborn – and excitedly called me as soon as they got the news that #2 was on the way! Through the years I have gotten to know them and love seeing their little family grow, and I feel so honored to have them choose me each time that they need a photographer. I know that there are so many other choices out there now, and it makes it all worth it to know that they trust me to do a good job.
Amelia was THE most cooperative toddler ever, given her role as Big Sister at the tender age of barely-two. We did their maternity session outdoors at Mingo Creek County Park.
Then a few weeks after Eva arrived and everyone had sort of settled into their new roles as a family of 4, I went to their home and photographed the newborn session.
