I sometimes feel sorry for the high school senior guys that I do sessions with. Most of them are not too thrilled with spending an hour getting photographed 🙂 Most of them are also only doing it because they know that it’s important to their moms, and unlike girls who have been practicing their smiles since they were two, they are a little unsure of themselves when it comes to being in front of the camera.
Matt’s family told me upfront that he was a little awkward in front of the camera, and he smiled sheepishly in agreement. The funny thing was, though, that once we got started, he did great! Despite his reputation for “never taking a good picture that looked like him”, he was actually easy to photograph. He was funny and cheerful and cooperative and relaxed…all the things that come through in the images. Mostly, he was NICE; and how could you not love this kid’s smile?
If you have a Canon McMillan high school senior that needs to be photographed and you are looking for a Canonsburg PA senior photographer, check out my portfolio of senior photography sessions that are casual, natural, timeless, and beautiful…especially if you think that some of the other senior photography that you see today is not exactly age-appropriate. I photograph these young people just as I would my own children. I want them to look like themselves, not Photoshopped supermodels! We can do your session at several different locations near you in the Canonsburg area, or at Mingo Creek County Park. My favorite part of a senior session is the album that is such a nice keepsake. It contains all of the images, which look even better together than they do separately, because they really show who your senior is right now…and it is all going to change in a heartbeat!
