Washington PA 15301 Trinity High School Senior Photographer on location at Mingo Park
Two weekends ago I was in PA photographing sessions at Mingo Park. Among those I did three senior girl sessions, the first round of many senior sessions throughout the fall. It’s so much fun doing these types of sessions. The kids – well, actually young adults – are naturally beautiful and naturally at ease in front of the camera, and I love the results. These images always take my breath away!
BUT – that means that I spend the next week editing and sniffling. Most of my seniors are kids that I have photographed many times throughout the years, since they were preschoolers in some cases. I just can’t believe how fast it goes by!
I loved all of Mia’s outfit choices for this session. She picked beautiful color combos that really set off her gorgeous brunette coloring, and were also very timeless. She kept her hair and makeup fresh and natural, which was perfect for our country outdoor location in the park. I love that we chose Mingo Park, as it was where we had done her family’s sessions in years past…and that was both fun and poignant.
Mia will be starting her senior year at Trinity High School in Washington PA, and is currently working on narrowing her college choices. It’s such a big decision, but I’m sure she will end up right where she should be.
None of these images give you any clue about how HOT AND HUMID it was on the day we shot this session! Mia was a real pro and never complained. The only problem we had was getting a few serious expressions, because this girl smiles all the time! Mia, I wish you the very best in the years to come – may all your dreams come true!
If you have a rising senior who still needs senior pictures, give me a call – I have a few spots left on my next trips to PA. If you are in the upstate area of SC, I have a lot more availability. As you can see, my work is done outdoors on location without any props or Hollywood lighting. I strive for fresh and natural portraiture, and will never do overtly sexy posing. If you think we are a good fit, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text 724-986-2625.
