TROUBLE DECIDING? I’M HAPPY TO HELP!
Actually, the hardest part is over. Deciding to schedule the session, trying to find a good time to do it, picking out the outfits, and getting everyone to cooperate…THAT was the hard part! Now let’s have some fun and get these beautiful images into your hands!
My pricing is based upon digital collections, which offer the most flexibility and the best value. Today’s young families are very familiar with printing their own digital files at a local photo lab or through an online service, and they love sharing electronically on their phones, digital frames, and via social media such as Facebook. Having the digital files also means that they can print as many gift prints as they like, make novelty items for grandparents such as calendars, and best of all have the digital images for archival purposes. This is definitely the easiest and least expensive way to go, UNLESS you are (1) unfamiliar with printing digital files and don’t have anyone to help you, (2) worried about the quality of consumer labs, or (3) simply don’t have the time to deal with the process and prefer that I do it for you. Don’t forget that you can select a digital package, but add on any prints or specialty products that you would like for a steep discount. If digital files aren’t for you at all, I can still work with you providing prints but the pricing will, of course, be different from what is listed on my site since I will be providing additional service. Just email me and I will be happy to give you a link to that process. Now, let’s go to the next step.
Most families come to me because they want to capture the complete story of their children at this point in time. They know that there are so many expressions and personality quirks that they want to remember forever, and one of the big advantages of custom photography, unlike chain studios, is the sheer number of images captured. This is especially important if you have more than one child and also if you do family photo sessions infrequently. My clients tend to put a high priority on family, treasure their children, and understand that the only thing about childhood that lasts is the pictures and the memories. If this sounds like you, you are probably going to want them all: proceed to step 3! But I do understand that sometimes you don’t need all of them. The Sweet Moments Collection at $599 lets you pick your favorite 20 images and, besides the files and reference prints, you also get the digital file of a beautifully designed 11×14 collage of all 20 of the images. Write down the numbers of your twenty favorites, star the one that you want to use for the cover of your custom image tin, and skip to step 4. If you are looking for a budget-friendly option that still gives you your choice of ten great images and the freedom to make as many prints as you want, the Simple Moments Collection at $399 is for you. Write down the numbers of your ten favorites, and star the one that you want to use for the cover of your custom image tin. Skip to step 4.
The Album is my most popular product. It has every image in it, all beautifully presented in a flush mount album that is a huge step up from consumer versions such as Shutterfly. Many families get one of these every year as a keepsake, especially in this electronic age where many people don’t even print their family photos any more! It is also perfect for those who don’t have the wall space for large prints, or who move frequently. The Special Moments Collection includes this album along with all of the digital files from your session, the digital file of a beautifully designed 11×14 collage of all of the images, and a digital slideshow set to music that you can download right onto your phones and tablets for $899.
If you aren’t an album kind of person, you may prefer the Shared Moments Collection. It includes all of the digital files, an gorgeous leather Image Box that holds a 5×7 color reference print of each file and is personalized with your favorite image on the cover, a digital file of a beautifully designed 11×14 collage of all of the images, and a digital slideshow set to music that you can download right onto your phones and tablets for $699. If you choose the Shared Moments, write down the number of the image that you want to use as the cover of the Image box. If you choose the Special Moments, write down the number of the two images that you want to use on the cover of the Album. Then proceed to step 4!
Browse through my website under Details and then Products. Here you will see examples of specialty items such as the very popular Storyboards & Collages, Gallery Canvases, Wall Prints & Frames, Mini-accordions, or Small Matted Gallery Albums. If you are interested in making a wall display for your home, check out my Display Ideas or my Pinterest page.
I can also help you with selecting the perfect wall display for your space and with your favorite images.
Write down any additional products and the image numbers for them that you want, and go to step 5.
Here is a handy online order form that you can use if you wish. You can also just email me (if you would rather not deal with an online form) because then we both have a record of the image numbers, or you can even call me. I am happy to answer any questions in this process or offer ordering help at any time, or give advice if you need an objective opinion. Remember, it is very important that you stay within the three-day ordering period that you have chosen! My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and my phone number is 724-986-2625. I will go over your order, let you know if I have any questions, show you what your Storyboard looks like with your chosen images if you selected one, and total up your order for your final approval. I accept MasterCard/Visa/Discover or checks for payment, which is due at the time of your final approved order. Your order will be sent to you via USPS unless you direct me otherwise, usually within a week to ten days.
That’s it…you are finished!
